THIS JUST IN! CRANKY RESPONDS AGAIN!

BULLY BOY PRESS &   CEDRIC'S BIG MIX & MIKEY LIKES IT!-- THE KOOL AID TABLE

PASTOR KEVIN SWANSON HAS DECLARED CRANKY CLINTON WILL TURN CHILDREN GAY.

REACHED FOR COMMENT BY THESE THREE REPORTERS, CRANKY CACKLED BEFORE RUNNING HER HANDS UP AND DOWN HER BODY IN A MOCKING MANNER, "OH-YEAH!  DON'T YOU WANT TO GET WITH THIS!  ONE LOOK AT ALL I'M BRINGING AND EVERY LITTLE GIRL'S GOING TO WANT THIS!"

SNORTING AND SHAKING HER HEAD, CRANKY THEN WALKED AWAY.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Saif Hameed and Ece Toksabay (REUTERS) report, "Iraq's prime minister accused Turkey on Wednesday of failing to respect an agreement to withdraw its troops from the country's north and its foreign minister said if forced, Iraq could resort to military action to defend its sovereignty."

This month found the government of Iraq objecting to the fact that Turkish troops were deployed to and stationed near Mosul.  They were formally asked to leave.  Xinhua notes, "Baghdad has insisted that the Turkish troops have no authorization from the Iraqi government and thus demanded their withdrawal, while Ankara called the troops only a routine rotation of the trainers."

When they refused, the Iraqi government appealed to the US government, the United Nations Security Council and the Arab League.

Last week, a body weighed in with a ruling.  SPUTNIK reported, "Turkey must withdraw immediately all its troops from Iraq without any preconditions, a statement unanimously adopted by members of the Arab League said Thursday."  AFP noted:

The Turkish deployment "is an assault on Iraqi sovereignty and a threat to Arab national security," they said in an Arab League statement after meeting at the pan-Arab bloc's Cairo headquarters.
Arab League deputy chief Ahmed Ben Heli read out the statement at a press conference, in which he added that the Turkish troops "increased tumult in the region."

SPUTNIK reports:

On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that Turkey had not honored a commitment to withdraw its troops from the region.
Abadi said in a statement that a Turkish delegation to Iraq promised to announce, upon returning to Ankara, that Turkey would withdraw its troops, "but the Turkish government has not respected the agreement and we request that the Turkish government announce immediately that it will withdraw from Iraqi territory."

And Turkey's response?  Al Arabiya News reports:

Speaking during an interview on NTV, [Prime Minister Ahmet] Davutoglu acknowledged there had been "miscommunication" over the troop deployment. He said that Ankara respected Iraqi sovereignty but added that Baghdad is not in control one third of its own territory.

Turkey announced earlier that it had begun withdrawing troops in a bid to soothe a bitter row with Baghdad and following a call from U.S. President Barack Obama.

And we'll note these two Tweets:

  • BOOM! 's FM: we can resort to military means to expel turkish troops if all peaceful means are ineffective!

  • Ouch! After Iraq threatened to use force against Turkish base in N.Iraq, Turkish PM Davutoglu:If Iraq has such military, it shd use on ISIS

THIS JUST IN! CRANKY CLINTON'S DEFENSE!

BULLY BOY PRESS &   CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

LOOK OUT BILL CLINTON, BILL COSBY GOT BUSTED TODAY.

SO EVEN THOUGH YOU THINK ACCUSATIONS ARE IN THE PAST, THEY CAN COME BACK TO HAUNT.

REACHED FOR COMMENT TONIGHT BY THESE REPORTERS, CRANKY CLINTON DISMISSED CONCERNS, INSISTING, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT MY HUSBAND'S SEX LIFE HAS TO DO WITH ME.  I BELIEVE EVERY AMERICAN ADULT, JUST BY LOOKING AT ME, KNOWS I HAVEN'T HAD SEX IN OVER 20 YEARS."

Today, Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi made the journey to Ramadi to proclaim victory in liberating the city from the Islamic State.

The declaration was premature as events made clear.

  • BREAKING UPDATE: Iraqi PM 's convoy comes under rocket fire during his visit in  , He remained unharmed.

  • At some point this week, Ramadi may indeed be liberated -- or at least be ridded of the Islamic State.  That point has not, however, been reached yet.

    But he wants bragging rights.

The battle for Ramadi is hailed by the media as a 'victory' and it has nothing to do with whether or not Ramadi's liberated.

It has everything to do with propaganda and the never-ending struggle between the governments of the United States and Iran.

It goes back to Tikrit and March of this year when the mission to run the Islamic State out of the city began.

    Iraqi forces stormed the area.

These were Iraqi military forces and the Shi'ite militias including the extremist, thuggish Shi'ite militias.  This included the Badr Brigade led by thug Hadi al-Amiri who stood out in 2015 mainly for threatening the US Congress with violence until this month when, as Mona Alami (AL-MONITOR) notes, "Hadi al-Ameri, the powerful leader of the Badr forces in the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, threatened in a statement Dec. 7 to attack any new US base in Iraq."

In Iraq and out of Iraq, Hadi al-Amiri is seen as a puppet for the government of Iran and he was seen as carrying out their orders in the efforts against Tikrit.  In addition, Iranian forces were taking part in  the battle and Quds Force Commander Qassem Soeimani was in Iraq.

    The mission was a failure.

And the US government provided limited assistance until the Iranians left.

As a result of that departure, Shi'ite Iraqi thugs with links to Iran -- including Haid al-Amiri -- pulled back.

It was during the pull back that the US government increased air strikes and Tikrit was freed of the Islamic State -- though overrun with Shi'ite thugs.  (When Ned Parker attempted to report this reality for REUTERS, his life was threatened and, despite nearly a decade covering Iraq for THE LOS ANGELES TIMES and REUTERS, he had to leave the country.)

The success in removing the Islamic State from Tikrit belonged to Iraqi forces and US air power.

In the battle for Ramadi (which remains ongoing), Iran's been left out of the party -- intentionally.

And bragging rights are out of its reach.

Haider used the Iraqi military and Sunni tribes and US bombings.

The rush to proclaim Ramadi a success is about the US getting credit and Iran losing out.

It's about Haider al-Abadi attempting to circumvent and weaken the Shi'ite militias.

It's about a great many things.

It is not, however, about Ramadi being liberated.

    Ramadi is the after thought.

THIS JUST IN! TRUMP IS THE NEW ELIZABETH EDWARDS!

BULLY BOY PRESS &   CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

GREASE BAG DEBBIE WASHERMAN SCHULTZ DECLARED ON MEET THE PRESS THAT BILL CLINTON IS VERY POPULAR.

WHICH REALLY DOESN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT CLINTON IS A SEXIST.

NOR DOES IT ACKNOWLEDGE THE REALITY THAT ELIZABETH EDWARDS REGULARLY RAISED BILL CLINTON'S AFFAIRS IN 2007 AND 2008 WHILE HER HUSBAND JOHN EDWARDS WAS SEEKING THE 2008 DEMOCRATIC PARTY'S PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION.

Women in Iraq and Syria have been ignored repeatedly throughout the never-ending Iraq War -- and that includes by THE GUARDIAN newspaper.

The only exception has always been when they can be used as pawns to justify the never-ending war.

When, in Iraq, they were the victims of Nouri al-Maliki's government -- falsely arrested, imprisoned without appearing before a court, beaten and raped in prisons -- THE GUARDIAN and other outlets weren't interested in reporting on it.

They'd run an occasional column but that was really it.

This was happening, it was documented by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.  The Iraqi Parliament's investigation found these abuses and crimes -- and many others -- were taking place.

And Iraqis took to the streets to protest this.

And protested non-stop for over a year.

But THE GUARDIAN didn't see fit to cover that.

Or when any woman fights back.

    That's not of interest.

But when they can do their little war porn -- and damage the lives of women while (and by) selling further war -- suddenly, they're interested in women.
