THIS JUST IN! AND THEN HE BLEW OUT THE CANDLES!

BULLY BOY PRESS - CHICAGO.

THIS JUST IN!

AND THEN HE BLEW OUT THE CANDLES!

AFTER TURNING 60 YESTERDAY, IT WAS ALL DOWN HILL FOR BULLY BOY.

FIRST THE FINANCIAL TIMES OF LONDON REPORTED "US jobs growth weaker than expected."

BUT A BULLY BOY ECONOMY WAS JUST PART OF THE GIFTS THAT AWAITED THE BIRTHDAY BOY.

EITHER HIS BRAIN AND SANITY WENT THE WAY OF THE ECONOMY OR HE DECIDED HE WOULD TRY OUT A NEW ROLE, COMEDIAN-IN-CHIEF, IN CHICAGO. IF IT'S THE ONSET OF EARLY SENILITY, CALL THE DOCTORS. IF IT'S HIS ATTEMPT AT STAND UP, STOP HIM BEFORE HE CRACKS DUMB AGAIN.

EARLY ON, HE OPENED WITH:

Unemployment rate in this area is 4.3 percent. That's below the national average. People are working. People are able to find jobs.

THE AUDIENCE COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING AT THAT, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE REPORTS THAT MORNING ON HOW WEAK THE ECONOMY WAS.

BECAUSE HE NEVER GETS TIRED OF JOKING THAT HE WORKS HARD, HE HAD TO WORK THAT IN TOO AND CHOSE TO USE IT FOR IRAQ:

It's hard work because we face an enemy that will kill innocent people in order to achieve an objective. And their object is to drive us out of Iraq so they can have safe haven from which to launch attacks against modern Muslim nations so they can spread their ideology of hate.

WHAT ENEMY? THE IRAQI PEOPLE? MOVING ON TO ANOTHER STAPLE, HE TURNED TO TALK OF OSAMA BIN LADEN:

I mean, we got a lot of assets looking for Osama bin Laden. So whatever you want to read in the story, it's just not true, period.
[. . .]
Absolutely. No ands, ifs or buts.
And, my judgment, it's a matter of time, unless we stop looking. And we're not going to stop looking so long as I'm the president; not only for Osama bin Laden, but anybody else who plots and plans attacks against the United States of America. We're going to stay on the offense so long as I'm your president.
WHAT YOU MAY HAVE READ, IN THE NEW YORK TIMES, WAS THIS:
The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, intelligence
officials confirmed Monday.
[. . .]
Michael Scheuer, a former senior C.I.A. official who was the first head of the unit, said the move reflected a view within the agency that Mr. bin Laden was no longer the threat he once was.
Mr. Scheuer said that view was mistaken.
"This will clearly denigrate our operations against Al Qaeda," he said. "These days at the agency, bin Laden and Al Qaeda appear to be treated merely as first among equals."
SENILE OR STAND UP? EITHER WAY, THE CANDLE'S OUT.
