THIS JUST IN! JOE BIDEN'S MEDICAL CONDITION REVEALED!

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

U.S. PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN TOLD JIMMY FALLON ON THE TONIGHT SHOW LAST WEEK THAT HE DOES NOT FOLLOW POLL NUMBERS ANYMORE.  MANY TOOK HIM AT HIS WORD THAT THIS WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT HIS POLL NUMBERS HAVE TANKED.

HOWEVER, DOCUMENTS RELEASED BY TRICKYLEAKS FROM DR. KEVIN O'CONNOR'S OFFICE REVEAL THAT THE PRESIDENT IS EASILY WINDED.  THE MEDICAL TERM FOR THE CONDITION IS ''AGING'' AND JOE, LIKE MANY AMERICANS, SUFFERS FROM IT.

REACHED FOR COMMENT, JOE ADMITTED TO THESE REPORTERS -- MUST CREDIT  BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THAT "INDEED, IF I'M NOT ABLE TO HARNESS MY OLD MAN FARTS TO PROPELL MYSELF THROUGH TIME AND SPACE, I'M REALLY INCAPABLE OF FOLLOWING ALMOST ANYTHING."

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Starting with a documentary Ruth noted earlier "JFK UNSOLVED: THE REAL CONSPIRACIES ."

KGO -- ABC 7 in the Bay Area -- produced the documentary with Dan Noyes as the reporter and with  interviews with Josiah Thompson (his most recent book on the assassination of JFK is LAST SECOND IN DALLAS) and Clint Hill (a Secret Service agent from the Eisenhower era to the Ford administration; he was in Dallas the day JFK was shot and is the one who jumped on the trunk after the shooting to shield the injured president and Jaqueline Kennedy).

All these years later and not only do questions remain but documents remain hidden -- documents that should have been released long ago.  Run out the clock and hope that by the time they're finally released it's an attitude of, "Oh, yeah, all those years ago bbrutal things happened.  You know like with Julius Caesar.  That's just how it was back then."  I do hope all the liars are held accountable -- not just the people that carried out the hit but also those who have made careers (and big bucks) out of lying and attacking.  They'll tell any lie at all -- like VARIETY's Owen as Ava and I noted in "Media: The stupid and the liars choose to serve corporations, not people:"

We think it's sad news that Oliver Stone has had to revisit the assassination of JFK.  It's sad but telling -- and most telling on our media.

58 years ago, then-President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.  The American people didn't buy the whitewash of The Warren Commission or it's 'expert; staff which included Gerald Ford (later a US president -- an unelected US president) and Arlen Specter (later a US senator).  A lot of people got 'lucky' or paid off because of how they responded to the assassination.  Lie -- like Ford and Specter -- and you or your children have a career -- Dan Rather, Ethan Hawke (are we really going to be the only ones to point out Ethan's connection?), Harry Connick Jr.,  Cokie Roberts . . .

There were people and outlets who questioned the nonsense in real time -- Jim Garrison, Mark Lane,  and both Mort Sahl and Woody Allen made ridiculing The Warren Commission part of their stand up acts.   But the establishment managed to stifle a robust discussion by (a) ignoring it and (b) ridiculing it when they had to acknowledge it.  And those who stifle a robust discussion get rewarded.  Even by the 'left.'  Last year, RISING elected to invite on plastic surgery freak Gerald Posner.  Gerald dismissed any questions about the assassination in CASE CLOSED.  Since the publication of that book, turns out that Posner isn't just a freak in the mirror, he's a freak on the page.  He plagiarizes non-stop.  He got fired from THE DAILY BEAST for it.  Then, turns out, it was discovered he plagiarized in books and writings prior to joining THE DAILY BEAST.  But RISING thought he was an acceptable guest.  Lies and all, right, doesn't matter a bit.  Doesn't matter to VARIETY's Owen Gleibernman who cited the work of the plagiarist to attack Oliver's new documentary.

We have to wonder -- and we did ask an editor we know at VARIETY -- is that now the standard for the rag?  You refute an argument by citing the work of a plagiarist?

And let's be clear, Owen refuted nothing.  Owen offered nothing.  He just dismissed and cited Twink-Faced-Frankenstein Gerald and added his own crackpot claims.  Such as?  Life is too damn short so we'll do one and only one:

Speaking of the throat wound, if it was, as the documentary claims, an entrance wound, caused by a bullet coming from the grassy knoll, wouldn’t that bullet have ripped through the side of Kennedy’s neck?

As we asked our friend as VARIETY, "How stupid is this bitch?"

He wrote that.  Owen wrote that garbage.  Took the time to type it up.  If it was a throat wound, it wouldn't have come through the side of the neck.  Has Owen ever taken his candy ass to Dallas?  Has he been to Dealey Plaza?  We asked community members Sabina and Dallas to each go there Saturday and stand in the approximate place where JFK was shot.

Now, per The National Archives, JFK was shot at three times.  The first shot missed.  Shots two and three struck.  As we already knew before we looked at the photos that Sabina and Dallas sent us, the Grassy Knoll is in front of where shots two and third struck.  Or, if Own prefers, "Front and to the side, front and to the side."  (If you suffered through his piece, you got our joke there.)  The car was not parallel to the Grassy Knoll when shots two and three were fired.

Maybe it's not just the stupid and the liars.  Maybe in the case of Owen Gleibernman it's possible to be both someone who gets it wrong because their stupid and also because they're a liar.

They'll tell any lie that they think they can get away with.

We bring it up because it's over a month now since the alleged assassination attempt on Mustafa al-Kahdimi.  The prime minister of Iraq claims he was targeted.  He claims six of his bodyguards were injured (the Iraqi government has claimed, at different times, four, five and six -- no names have ever been released which is why Iraqis on social media are skeptical about the injuries -- among other things).  Mustafa tried to ride the attempt or 'attempt' to popularity.  He's desperate for a second term but the Iraqi epople don't want him and press-appointed king maker Moqtada al-Sadr isn't cray about him while the one to always watch, Nouri al-Maliki, loathes him.  Nouri knows how to game the system and he's also been meeting with various blocs in his attempt to form the largest bloc and claim the right to name the prime minister designate.  WHile Nouri scrambles, Mustafa eats pastries and licks his fingers.  Fat and happy, right Moqtada?  Caftans can only hide so much.

So the day after the attempt or 'attempt' on his life, Mustafa shows up in public to proclaim he is strong and well and he knows who is behind the attempt (or 'attempt').

It's a month later.

Where are the arrests?

Or the arrest if it was some sort of 'lone gunman' flying the drones.

Where are the arrests?

Seems to me that a real attack, a real attempt to assassinate the prime minister of a country would result in arrests -- especially if they were claiming to know who carried it out.  Seems to me that not making any arrests is saying that anyone can get away with anything which would make Mustafa a huge target.

The government of Iran, in various state publications, is claiming that the US government was behind the attack.  That's something thats existed on Iraqi social media since the day of the attempt (or 'attempt').  That argument goes that the US backed Mustafa (true) and they realize Mustafa will probably be replaced because he's so unpopular so they staged an attack that would draw sympathy for Mustafa and force the country to rally around him.

If that is what happened, the US government is really stupid.  There's been no rallying around Mustafa and only an idiot would have believed that there would be.  He's unpopular.  Not because he has bad breath, because he's done nothing.  He promised he'd come in, hold early elections, and then leave  But the early elections got pushed back.  He's done nothing to address corruption.

Real assassinations have taken place.  Protesters and journalists have been wounded and killed.  And their killers -- members of the Iraqi government -- walk free.

Mustafa will give a fiery remark or show up for a photo-op but that's it.

People don't trust him and they don't like him.

Where are the arrests?

Again if it was a real attempt on his life, the failure to make any arrests sends a message that attempting to assassinate him is okay and no big deal.

THIS JUST IN! CHEAPSKATE JOE REGIFTS TO THE POPE!

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

U.S. PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN WAS OVERJOYED TO MEET POPE FRANCIS.

THIS DESPITE BEING A CHEAPWAD WHO GIFTED THE POPE WITH A COIN AND A USED GIFT.

BUT WHEN JOE BIDEN FINALLY MEETS A WORLD LEADER SIGNIFICANTLY OLDER THAN HE IS, IT'S A BIG DEAL.

"I'M THE YOUNGSTER IN THE ROOM!" JOE HOLLERED TO ANY WHO WOULD LISTEN.  "I'M ONLY 78 YEARS OLD!  HE'S 84!!!! WHEN HE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL, I WASN'T EVEN IN HIGH SCHOOL!"

MEANWHILE, SNOOPS SPENT THEIR TIME TRYING TO SNIFF OUT THE TRUTH IN A CLAIM THAT JOE BIDEN POOPED HIMSELF WHILE MEETING THE POPE.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Heaven help us, the world deserves better.

You can't follow what passes for commentary without thinking "The world deserves better."  I'm reminded of this with the garbage FOREIGN POLICY has published -- is that redundant?  FP just publishes garbage and has been since around the time of Susan Glasser's brief tenure at the head of the magazine.  It's garbage.

So they want to weigh in on Iraq and they can't find anyone obviously.  So they go with . . . Anchal Vohra.  Scratching your head?  A lot of us are.  Those of us who know her work certainly are.  But, reality, most people are scratching their heads over "Who?" They'd be right to.

But Anchal's problem for those of us who know her work is she doesn't cover Iraq.  She's a paid journalist.  In three years, she has filed two reports on Iraq -- don't count her b.s. "Syria and Iraq" that is never about Iraq, whether it's her or anyone else, they write about Syria and toss in a tidbit about Iraq.  Anchal does the same with her "Lebanaon and Iraq" coverage.  She's in Beirut and she largely covers Israel.

She's not an expert on Iraq and it shows.  Over and over.

And I get it, most people have pulled their staff from Iraq.  You need someone to write a column, what are you going to do?

Well, I don't know, maybe get an Iraqi journalist in Iraq to write it?  How about that?

It beats bringing on Jane Arraf -- which MSNBC did recently and Ava and I were kind and avoided weighing in on that nonsense.  Jane has no opinion worth sharing.

She's at THE NEW YORK TIMES now.  But you may know her from THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR, NPR, ALJAZEERA or, most infamously CNN.

She's been in Iraq forever.  Including under CNN.

If you're thinking, wait, wait, I don't know that name -- you're right.

Because she doesn't break news.

Never.

Ever.

She learned that at CNN.

As Eason Jordan revealed in April of 2003 ("The News We Kept To Ourselves," NEW YORK TIMES), CNN didn't report from Iraq.  They covered what the Iraqi government (run by Saddam Hussein) wanted covered.  They avoided anything embarrassing (such as reality) because it might get them kicked out of the country.

That's why you don't know Jane Arraf.  She's 'covered' Iraq since the 90s.  And she never saw anything.

Nothing.

Abu Ghraib?  Nope.  Innocent civilians being killed?  No.

I should be fair.  She did briefly see the deaths of civilians.  Briefly.  When she was new on Twitter.  But those deaths never made it into her print or radio coverage.  Even when she was an eye witness.

Because Jane was trained under "The News We Kept To Ourselves."

Someone who is now on her fourth decade covering Iraq and she's never had a scoop, never had a memorable piece of journalism.

That is, by the way, how she keeps getting hired.  They hire her, all these outlets, knowing that she'll churn out boring copy that never informs so it never alienates.  She takes up space and let's them check off 'covered' on their list.

Back to Anchal.  At FOREIGN POLICY, she pens the non-thought piece (a musing? fan fiction?) entitled "Muqtada al-Sadr is the United States' best hope in Iraq."

Iraq is a land of orphans and widows.  The war continues and will hit the 19th anniversary mark next March.  The media age in Iraq is 21-years-old.    By way of contrast, in the US, the median age is 38.1-years-old.  Why the stark difference?  Because the war killed over a million people.  Because it turned the country into a land of orphans and widows.

And yet Anchal's writing about the Iraq election from the stand point of . . . the US?

Never accuse most journalists of having a sense of purpose -- the vast majority don't even provide context today.

THIS JUST IN! BIDEN GREETED LOUDLY IF NOT WARMLY!

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

U.S. PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN VISITED HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT WHERE HE WAS GREETED LOUDLY IF NOT WARMLY.  "F**K YOU, JOE BIDEN!" PROTESTERS SCREAMED LEADING JOE TO WONDER IF HILLARY CLINTON WAS IN THE AUDIENCE.

SMILING, JOE DECLARED, "I LIKE KIDS BETTER THAN PEOPLE."

WELL, AS SPOKESPERSON JEN PSAKI POINTED OUT, THEY ARE EASIER TO SNIFF.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Sunday, Iraq held elections.  Ben van der Merwe (NEW STATESMAN) offers:

The months leading up to election day were marred by a spate of attacks by IS, as well as Turkish airstrikes against Kurdish and Yazidi militants. The attacks by Turkey are reported to have killed between 65 and 125 Iraqi civilians since 2015.

Since 2018, the share of Iraqis describing the status of security in the country as “good” has fallen from 81 per cent to 38 per cent, including just 27 per cent of Kurds.

The growing role of armed groups in Iraq has also been a topic of concern: 59 per cent of Iraqis see non-state militias as having more control over domestic politics than the Iraqi state itself. Militias backed by Iran have played a key role in the government’s violent crackdown on protesters, including being deployed as snipers to fire on demonstrators. Iraqi attitudes towards Iran have nosedived. The share of Iraqis having a favourable view of their neighbour has fallen from 70 per cent in 2017 to just 15 per cent in 2020.

“People certainly knew that these guys killing demonstrators were backed by Iran, so of course this significantly contributed to a shift in their perception towards Iran,” Mera Bakr, an Erbil-based Iraqi politics and security researcher, told the New Statesman.

Did you read it?  Did you grasp it?  As one of the few sites on the left not turning a thug into a martyr in January of 2020, I hope we all grasp it.  It was very easy to say -- and we did -- the US should not be killing by drone.  You didn't have to trun a thug responsible for harassing protesters and kidnapping them and killing them into a hero or a poet or any other laughable claim.

But Donald Trump orders a drone attack and because there are a lot of idiots on the left (on the right as well) it immediately became, "Man killed was saint!"  No, he wasn't.  He should have stood trial for his actions and been put into prison.  Your stupidity and your addiction to daulities does not help anyone.  Life is not either/or.  A Donald Trump (or Joe Biden) can be wrong in killing someone -- execution without a trial -- without meaning the person assassinated was a saint or even a good person.  That man was a horror.  CODESTINK and others need to start deciding whether they stand with young protesters or with the thugs that terrorize young protesters.  And if resolving that dilemma is too damn much for them, they should just close shop -- honestly, no one would miss them.  They became a joke in 2007 and they're just a tired joke all these years later.

And your ignorance of The October Revolution -- whether you're a member of CODESTINK or some other idiotic organization -- is inexcusable if you present as someone even mildly concerned about world affairs.  In the fall of 2019, The October Revolution began.  If you're unaware of this grou pof young Iraqis who brought down a prime minister, then that's really on you at this point.

Let's aso remember that Medea Benjamin of CODESTINK cried over a pie-ing -- cried in public repeatedly.  Because someone hit her in the face with a pie.  Oh, poor little baby.  I've had red paint thrown at me at demonstrations, wiped it off as best I could and kept marching.  But Medea wanted to turn a pie-ing into a terrorist act.  So forgive me if I don't excuse her ignorance of the peaceful, young protesters in Iraq who were stalked, who were intimidated, who were wounded, who were killed in public at demonstrations and who were killed after they left demonstrations and were just living their lives.

I used to think CODESINK's greatest embarrassment was allowing themselves to be used by their leader Jodie Evans who was an Obama bundler and who used the roup to attack John Edwards and Hillary Clinton -- 'bird-dogging' -- while pretending like there was no connection between Jodie's political motivations and the rag tag band's actions.  Tehy'll get what they deserve, this all tends to even out eventually.  Ask Jodie.  She married for money but she'll still ended up miserable.

Let's note Hassan al-Ahmed (AL-MONITOR):

Preliminary election results were a shock to political parties affiliated with the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and associated militias. Meanwhile, the historical ally of these parties, Nouri al-Maliki, earned a remarkable victory. This puts them in a difficult position, as accepting the results means conceding defeat and rejecting the results means undermining their ally's victory.

Updated preliminary results show the PMU-affiliated political parties, the Fatah Alliance and its affiliates on the losing side. It indicates a major reduction for the PMU in the number of parliamentary seats, from the previously 48 seats held in 2018 to merely 20 seats. Five of those 20 seats are for Hadi al-Amiri’s Badr Organization; 10 are for Qais Khazali’s Asaib Ahl al-Haq; and five are for other small blocs such as the Sanad al-Watani bloc represented by the commander of Jund al-Imam, Ahmad al-Assadi.

Other PMU factions formed their own political bloc called the Huqooq movement, which is affiliated with Kata'ib Hezbollah and represented by Hussein Muanis. The Huqooq movement earned 1 parliamentary seat. According to deceased Iraqi researcher Hisham al-Hashimi, Muanis is actually the spokesman for Kata'ib Hezbollah, Abu Ali al-Askari. In addition, PMU head Faleh al-Fayadh’s al-Aqd al-Watani gained five parliamentary seats.

Maliki’s State of Law Coalition almost doubled its number of seats, so far winning over 37 parliamentary seats compared to the 2018 elections when they won 25 seats.

Imagine that.  Who could have guessed that Nouri had grown more popular than 2014 when he was forced out of office in disgrace?  Uh, we pointed it out.  REpeatedly.  And I noted Nouri was  a thug and I was not meaning it as an endorsement but he had grown more popular and would do well in the elections.  That was a reflection on how pathetic Mustafa al-Kahdimi was as prime minister.

I'm not the Arab press  Meanng I never worked with Mustafa when he was a jouranlist so I had no reason to lie for him or make him look better than he was.  I'm also not the White House so I had no reason to insist he was a healer and a leader and . . .

He is a pathetic politician who couldn't accomplish one damn thing.  He allowed the militia to disrespect the office in multiple ways.  The militia is part of the government forces  That never should have happened but it did.  Once that happened, they needed to toe the line like any other security force.

Instead, they gave interviews to the press calling Mustafa a traitor and saying he was guilty of treason -- did so publicly, with their names attached to their comments to the press.  And no fall out.  They got enraged when one of their leaderrs was taken into custody.  They basically stormed Baghdad and encircled Mustafa's home.  He didn't use the military to disperse them, he saw to it that their leader was released.

He's pathetic.

He can't protect Iraq from the Turkish military which bombs northern Iraq daily and has set up a military base there and has ground forces there.

He can't provide jobs.

He can't keep his promises.

He can't protest the citizens.

What has he done?

Joe Biden picked the wrong horse in the race and now Iraqis have to suffer.
